Responsibilities:

• Field and musea study in Nation-wide Butterfly Project in the Netherlands

• Collection of valuable historic data on day-butterflies concerning habitats; these data were entered into a GIS system (Geographical Information System) in order to provide ecological information on how certain species have decreased in numbers or even became extinct due to human activity and development in sensitive eco-systems
• Field survey by collecting data (species, habitat, behaviour) on day-butterflies in nature reserves throughout the Netherlands. Also these data were entered into a GIS
